This is the smallest loaf of bread that I have ever baked.
All because I need half a cup of breadcrumbs for a terrine recipe.
The crust was hard, fresh out of the oven. It smelt really good. But the crust softened by the next morning. Just as well, to make the breadcrumbs.
Used the small pan that can be seen in the picture of two pans here:
