update 3 Sep 2017 . 27 Jul 2017 First attempt to do a hardcover book binding. For printouts on baking tips and recipes. The sheets of paper to be bound. Shortcut with staple-gun. Actually, no choice as there is no way to manually 'sew' through 50 sheets of paper. Had to re-do the sheet binding the spine, as I forgot to add a blank first and last sheet of paper. The wrap-around sheet will be glued to the hardcovers. Laid the hardboard pieces on the cloth. Glued the cloth to the hardboard pieces. The corners were difficult to fold. The front and back of the hardcover. The cloth on the left bottom discolored a bit but black and white combination camouflages some of these flaws. Overnight drying, weighed down to flatten. Added the blank first and last sheet of paper - re-stapled, etc. Glued the spine to the covers. Waited overnight for it to dry - weighed down. Then, glued the wrap-around sheet to the hardcovers. Sometime in 2013 in a children's craft class, I made some samples of paper clay pendants using cookie cutter. Added the hook so that it could be used as a pendant to hang on a chain. Painted with acrylic and finished up with varnish. Front view of the pendants. Back view of pendants.

That red, blue and white tile is a paper mosaic coaster. Made in 2012 as a sample when I was helping out with a children's craft class. With Mod Podge sealer, it's supposed to be (semi) waterproof. I think I only have this picture as a keepsake. I have either misplaced the tile or donated it to the children's group. Home made can look nice too.
